Day Cruise to Järvisydän
Day Trip from Savonlinna to Järvisydän and Back | Available June 26 – August 16, 2025
Enjoy a daily cruise on beautiful Lake Saimaa aboard M/S Velmeri. The route passes through Linnansaari National Park to the Nature Hotel & Spa Resort Järvisydän. After the visit to Järvisydän, we return to Savonlinna by bus. The cruise must be booked in advance, but you can enquire last minute reservations from the reception of Nature Resort Savonlinna.
Day Trip to Järvisydän:
- Departure from the Passenger Harbor aboard M/S Velmeri daily at 12:00 PM.
- Cruise through the stunning scenery of Lake Haukivesi and Linnansaari National Park. Onboard, there is a café/bar that also serves lunch. On a beautiful summer day, you can relax on the spacious sun deck.
- We arrive at Järvisydän at 3:00 PM.
- At Järvisydän, we recommend visiting the unique Lake Spa. Tickets to the spa can be purchased on site. Järvisydän also offers outdoor trails and a charming Forest Café inhabited by alpacas.
- Return transportation to Savonlinna departs at 5:45 PM by bus from in front of the reception.
- Arrival at Savonlinna Passenger Harbor around 6:45 PM.
