The Midnight Sun Dinner Cruise on M/S Velmeri departs from the Market Square on opera nights right after the performance at 22:30 (we wait for all guests to arrive from the opera). During the cruise, you’ll enjoy a beautiful summer evening and a three-course dinner onboard.

Cruise to Järvisydän

A full-day trip from Savonlinna to Järvisydän and back. | Available from June 26 to August 16, 2025.
The cruise on beautiful Lake Saimaa departs daily aboard M/S Velmeri. The route goes through Linnansaari National Park to Nature Hotel & Spa Resort Järvisydän. After your visit, you’ll return to Savonlinna by bus.

• Departure: From Savonlinna Passenger Harbor daily at 12:00
• Cruise route: Through Haukivesi and the scenic Linnansaari Lake National Park
• Onboard: Café/bar with lunch available. On sunny days, relax on the spacious sun deck.
• Arrival at Järvisydän: 15:00
• At Järvisydän, we recommend visiting the unique lake spa (tickets available on-site). There are also nature trails and a charming Forest Café with alpacas nearby.
• Return to Savonlinna: By bus at 17:45
